Day courses are designed to provide learners with a range of employability related skills and formal Vocational qualifications to facilitate those entering the labour market for the first time and also Persons wishing to up-date or acquire new skills. Course options include courses providing the necessary technical and generic skills required to access employment in the market place.
Courses can lead to FETAC (QQI) Awards at levels 3, 4, 5 and 6 and/or to industry recognised accreditation. All courses have a strong work placement element.
The duration of training can vary ranging from 5 to 50 weeks. The majority of day courses are delivered on a full-time basis throughout the year in the
Kerry ETB Training Centre and are supplemented by contracted providers allowing us the flexibility to meet changing demand and run courses in locations throughout the county. Some courses run in Kerry include:

- Computer Aided Design
- Welding – Basic to Advanced
- Traditional Stonewall Construction
- Java Programmer
